The Hawks players participating in the Hawks College Prep Program (CPP) finished their first day of college visits on Friday, June 20th.  The players who are all on Hawks teams U15 or older, visited University of San Diego and San Diego State University.  The players toured the campus with the soccer coaches at these universities, it gave them the chance to see the athletic facilities and view the campus as student athletes.  See quotes below from players regarding their experiences, the coaches who spent the day with them and the parents who went along on the trip.

….and from the CPP Director Greg Morales:  “In recapping the day I hope all players are able to better understand some of the things they may be looking for as they pursue soccer in college. The group was very attentive and asked a lot of questions. I look forward to sharing with them more about the college process and I am confident in this plan.”
