TVSA Hawks Black girls under 16 team captured the championship winning all six games at the prestigious Nomads College Showcase March 31st thru April 2nd. The girls won all 3 games in pool play to advance to the quarterfinals Sunday evening where they finished off PCU from Oregon 4-0. The next day in the semi finals and championship game they completed their sweep of the tournament with victories in both games. The finals went to double overtime and the Hawks prevailed finally in penalty kicks against one of their league rivals, Irvine Strikers. The tournament was a tune up for the start of National Cup at the end of this month where they look to continue their winning ways.
